Nationally Certified School Psychologist Scott County Public Schools | Georgetown, KY

 

  • Coordinate multidisciplinary evaluations for special education and Section 504 eligibility.

  • Conduct appropriate cognitive, academic, and behavioral assessments utilizing testing and diagnostic practices as they are referred through the Special Education Department.

  • Consult regularly with teachers, parents, and administrators on a variety of topics.

  • Worked collectively with education professionals to deliver in-school counseling support for identified students (group and individual). 

  • Monitored and served as a school and district-wide resource regarding compliance with IDEA, Kentucky State Regulations, and Section 504.

  • Authored the district's Parent Guide to Special Education.

  • Chaired a middle school positive behavior support team to lead the development and implementation of a SWPBS system utilizing the Safe and Civil Schools Curriculum.
